So you say you wanna get rich utilizing the Internet and quit your day job huh? Well, where do you start? If you’ve experienced anything like I have, you are probably almost bald from pulling out your hair because you’re frustrated because there is so much information.
The web has been a friend when I’ve needed to find directions, recipes, restaurants, or any other information because of its accessiblity. But, it has also been a foe when trying to start a web based business because with all the websites and “experts” out there, it has made my head spin.
Domain names, rotators, affliate programs, servers, re-directing, auto responders, hot leads, pay-per-click, co-ops, keywords, spiders, search engine optimization……..the list goes on and on of all the things you must know to make any real money on the net. Besides having to know about all these things, you must also have the tools and gadgets to make it all work. There are so many programs touted as the best to get your site noticed, but how do you know? What if you’re brand new to all of this; a “newbie”? Do you know where to spend your hard earned cash? If you’re like me, you are scraping by and can’t afford to shell out your money to just anyone.
Now the basics of a lot of these things I just mentioned can all be learned on the Internet for free. But, of course, it is very time consuming and won’t be learned overnight. You will spend countless hours reading articles, hanging out in chat rooms and forums, researching, and analyzing. The alternative is to get a crash course and spend $5,000 to $10,ooo and 3 days with a “Guru” with no guarantees that you will make it on the internet.
